KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 27: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar, Vinod Kumar Behnal today convened a comprehensive review meeting to assess the implementation status of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department schemes in the District.
At the outset, ACD Manoj Kumar provided an overview of the schemes through a presentation, followed by detailed discussions on the matter.
The ADDC reviewed physical and financial progress under MGNREGS, PMAY-G, UT/District Capex, TAD, CD & Pyt and CDF—stressing timely completion of works, adherence to quality standards, saturation of targets and resolution of bottlenecks at block and panchayat levels. He exhorted the officers and officials to ensure close monitoring of work progress, expedite completion of pending projects and submit updated progress reports as per prescribed timelines.
The ADDC also emphasized proactive coordination between Blocks and REW to strengthen grassroots-level planning and implementation, while ensuring community participation and effective grievances redressal.
