REASI, JUNE 24: A review meeting to assess the progress of the Awareness and saturation camps in 44 selected tribal villages under Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan was held here today. Additional District Development Commissioner Sukhdev Singh Samyal chaired the meeting.

The ADDC took a detailed review focusing on the number of beneficiaries who have availed the government schemes and services during the camps. It was informed that regular awareness camps are being organized in 44 identified tribal villages to inform and sensitize tribal communities about key welfare schemes.

The ADDC emphasized the need of 100% saturation of benefits under schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, PM jan Dhan scheme, PM KISAN, besides services like Aadhaar enrollment and issuance of Domicile and other certificates.  He directed the District officers, Tehsildars and BDOs to work collectively to ensure all beneficiaries are covered under the outreach camps. He further directed to seek the support of ASHA workers in identifying the eligible individuals who are yet to receive Aadhaar, Ayushman Cards, or other welfare entitlements.

The meeting was informed that 100% saturation of Poshan Vatika has been achieved in the targeted villages.

The meeting was attended by CPO Narinder Kumar, ACD Vijay Kumar, ACR Nitin Verma, CMO, all BDOs, DIO (info) and other concerned officers.
