Srinagar, Sep 16: Security forces on Saturday afternoon burst a hideout in North Kashmir’s Handwara district and recovered arms and ammunition from it, officials said.
Officials told as per the Kashmir Bulletin (KB), said, that today, during a search operation at Wadder Bala by parties of Army 21RR, Handwara Police, and CRPF 92 Bn, a hideout of arms and ammunition was busted.
“The arms and ammunition that have been recovered are as follows: Ak 47 02, Ak 56 01, Ak mag 16, Rds Ak 328, Pistol 01, Mag pistol 02, Pistol rds 03, Ubgl. 01, and Ubgl rds 04.”
Moreover, “In relation to this, FIR No 208/2023 has been registered at Police Station Handwara under relevant sections of UAPA and the Arms Act, and an investigation has been initiated” (KB).
