UDHAMPUR, JUNE 13: Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai today convened a meeting of officers of line departments to discuss and finalize the necessary arrangements for the smooth celebration of International Yoga day here at Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur.
Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh, PO Poshan, Subash Dogra, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Umesh Shan, Chief Planning Officer, Mohd Iqbal and other officers attended the meeting.
Threadbare discussions were held to finalize various arrangements related to the venue of event, participants, stage, refreshment, publicity, parking, security and other necessary requirements.
The DC directed the concerned departments to start the execution of respective responsibilities well in advance. She called for inter-departmental coordination and stressed on ensuring mass participation to make the event a grand success.
