UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 07: In preparation for the upcoming counting of votes scheduled for October 8th, the District Election Officer, Udhampur, Saloni Rai along with SSP Amod Ashok Nagpure held a key meeting with contesting candidates and representatives of various political parties from District Udhampur.
During the meeting, DEO Udhampur briefed the candidates as well as representatives on the detailed layout and procedural aspects of the counting process, emphasizing that it will be conducted in a smooth, transparent manner as per the guidelines set by the Election Commission of India. She assured them of full cooperation from the district administration throughout the process.
She urged all present to maintain discipline, law & order on the day of counting, emphasizing that no entry into the premises will be permitted without valid identity cards. The DEO called upon the candidates and party representatives to cooperate fully and ensure a fair and peaceful counting process.
