UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 21: Under the overall supervision of District Election Officer Udhampur Saloni Rai, a series of comprehensive training sessions for smooth and transparent conduct of General Elections to Legislative Assembly J&K 2024 are being organized at different locations in all four constituencies of district Udhampur.
The training sessions are primarily focusing on the role and responsibilities of polling staff for conducting elections. Emphasis is being laid to ensure that polling staff are well prepared and confident to handle their responsibilities effectively.
The Presiding and Polling officials are being imparted hands-on practice of Voting Machines and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trials (VVPAT), setting up of dummy polling stations and visual demonstrations of election process. The training process is being supervised by Nodal Officer training management (DSEO Udhampur).
