KULGAM, AUGUST 28: In a bid to promote electoral participation and ensure informed voting, a series of awareness programmes were conducted in Kulgam under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative.
The programmes were held under the theme Votuk Taqat with the slogan ‘I Vote for Sure’, aiming to highlight the significance of voting among female employees and Self Help Group (SHG) members in the district.
A special awareness session was organized exclusively for female employees, focusing on the importance of exercising their voting rights here at mini-secretariat Kulgam.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to empower women and encourage their active participation in the democratic process.
Additionally, awareness sessions were held for Self Help Group members across all three Assembly Constituencies in Kulgam.
These sessions were designed to sensitize the members about the power of their vote and the role it plays in shaping the future of their community and the nation.
