DODA, AUGUST 23: A voter awareness rally involving students was today taken out under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) here from Government Higher Secondary School Goha Marmat.
Chief Education Officer Parkash Lal Thapa and Kailash Kumar (Principal) Assembly Constituency Level Nodal Officer for AC 53 and Principal GHSS Goha Gopal Chalotra flagged off the students.
As the Nodal Officer for Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) and SVEEP, the CEO also inspected polling stations at GHSS Goha and GHS Hambal of Assembly Constituency 53 to ensure compliance to the AMF norms.
The SVEEP rally aimed to raise awareness about the importance of voting and encourage citizens to participate in the democratic process. Students and staff from the school participated in the rally, carrying banners and reciting slogans to promote voter education and awareness.
Earlier, the CEO verified the availability of essential facilities at polling stations, including ramps for differently-abled voters, shade, drinking water, and toilet facilities.
