POONCH, AUGUST 23: In a significant step towards ensuring a seamless electoral process, District Election Officer Poonch (DEO), Vikas Kundal on Friday visited the 24×7 Election Control Room set up to effectively oversee and manage the assembly elections.
The District Election Officer reviewed the Election Cell and the newly established Control Room. The DEO’s visit was part of a comprehensive effort to assess the facilities and bolster the management of the ensuing elections.
The Control Room, operational round the clock, is designed to monitor all aspects of the election process in real-time. It will serve as the central hub for addressing any election-related issues, strengthen coordination among various sections, and ensure that all procedures are followed meticulously. The establishment of this facility underscores the commitment towards maintaining high standards of electoral integrity and efficiency.
During the review, the DEO meticulously inspected all sections of Election Cell. The DEO also highlighted the utility of the Control Room in ensuring transparency in the electoral process. By providing continuous support and immediate response capabilities, the Control Room is expected to play a crucial role in facilitating a successful electoral experience for the citizens of Poonch.
