Addressing the gathering, the ALC highlighted the need to continue and accelerate efforts to eradicate child labour. “Though much progress has been made through legal frameworks and awareness campaigns, a united and sustained community response is essential to address the root causes and protect every child’s right to education and a dignified life,” he maintained.

The School Principal appreciated the initiative and emphasized that education is the most powerful tool in combating child labour. He encouraged students to play an active role in raising awareness within their families and localities.

The Chairperson CWC urged parents, teachers and community leaders to remain vigilant and report any instances of child labour. She elaborated on the mechanisms in place to safeguard children and reiterated the importance of collaborative efforts to eliminate exploitation.
