SAMBA, APRIL 25: District Samba today observed World Malaria Day 2025 as a series of awareness programs and educational activities were held across various health institutions and schools.

The deliberation centered on this year’s theme “Malaria Ends With Us: Reinvest, Re-imagine, Reignite, which aims to re-energize efforts at all levels, from global policy to community action, to accelerate progress towards malaria elimination.

The events were held across all three medical blocks of the district-Ramgarh, Nud and Purmandal -where healthcare professionals conducted awareness sessions, distributed informational pamphlets, and emphasized the importance of eliminating mosquito breeding grounds.

Special outreach and education programs were also organised in multiple educational institutions including GMS Jakh, GMS Budhwani, GHS Rahya, GMS Daghore. Students were educated about the symptoms, diagnosis, and prevention of malaria. The initiatives aimed to foster community involvement and ensure the younger generation plays a role in spreading awareness about this preventable disease.
