BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 03: Block level Master Trainer orientation programme under Aadi Karmayogi – Responsive Governance programme continued on second day today at the Forest Training & Research Institute Chitternar, Bandipora.

The programme is being organised from September 2 to 4, 2025, as part of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs’ initiative for tribal transformation.

The sessions on the second day focused on participatory planning, responsive governance and preparation of village-level development plans with emphasis on healthcare, education, infrastructure, digital access and livelihood opportunities. Trainers also highlighted the importance of preserving traditional knowledge while promoting modern skill development.

Resource persons underscored the need to identify local gaps and build the capacity of grassroots institutions for sustainable tribal development. They further stressed that the Aadi Karmayogi programme aims to empower tribal communities by ensuring their active involvement in governance and decision-making processes.

The programme witnessed active participation of officers, BDOs, volunteers and concerned stakeholders, who deliberated on strategies to make tribal villages self-reliant, socially empowered and digitally connected.
