THANNAMANDI, MARCH 23: An awareness programme under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative was conducted today at BHSS Thannamandi, aimed at promoting voter awareness and participation.
The event, held under the guidance of District Development Commissioner Rajouri (District Election Officer), Om Parkash Bhagat, highlighted the importance of active civic engagement in the electoral process.
Large number of students, along with faculty members from BHSS Thannamandi, actively participated in the programme.
Mohammad Ayaz Raina, Lecturer and member of district SVEEP Cell, presented the objectives of SVEEP, emphasizing the importance of inclusive voter participation.
Prof Khalid Riyaz delivered a thorough presentation, stressing the significance of electoral engagement in strengthening democratic principles.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from Prof. Manzoor Ahmed Dar. He expressed gratitude for the valuable contributions of all the participants.
Professor Mohammad Iqbal Raina, the District Nodal Officer (DNO) for SVEEP, ensured the smooth execution of the programme.
