BANDIPORA, AUGUST 13: On the directions of the District Administration Bandipora, the Ayush Health and Wellness Centre, Nadihal, organised an awareness camp on the occasion of International Youth Day, as a prelude to the upcoming Independence Day celebrations.
Addressing the students, Resource persons highlighted that the wellbeing of young people extends beyond physical health and includes emotional strength, responsible decision-making and the ability to seek help when facing difficult circumstances. Students were sensitised about recognising early signs of emotional distress, managing stress, developing healthy coping mechanisms and building resilience in the face of personal and social challenges.
Keeping in view the importance of preparedness during emergencies, a First Aid Box containing essential medical supplies was formally handed over to the school in-charge by the Medical Officer, Ayush Health and Wellness Centre Nadihal. The initiative is intended to strengthen the school’s preparedness to respond promptly to minor injuries and emergencies until professional medical assistance is available.
Adding a strong sense of national pride to the programme, National Flags were distributed among the students.
The activity served not merely as a symbol of the approaching Independence Day, but also as an opportunity to remind the young generation of the values represented by the national flag—unity, dignity, responsibility and service to the nation.
