RAMBAN, OCTOBER 29: The Department of AYUSH Ramban under the guidance of Deputy Director Dr Suresh Sharma celebrated the 9th Ayurveda Day to mark Dhanwantari Jayanti, engaging the community in honoring India’s ancient health system. The participants paid tributes to Lord Dhanwantari, the deity of Ayurveda, and highlighted the significance of traditional health practices.

The event was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner Roshan Lal in presence of CPO Shakeeb Ahmed; ACP Ashfaq Ahmed; DTO Mohammad Imran Banday and other officers.

Roshan Lal emphasized Ayurveda’s essential role in modern healthcare, encouraging the community to integrate Ayurvedic principles into their daily lives for holistic well-being and disease prevention.

The celebration included enriching lectures by Nelofar, Ayush Health Worker at AHWC Dharam, and Dr. Netu, as well as a unique session on the use of Artificial Intelligence in Ayurveda by Huzaifa bin Masood. These sessions emphasized Ayurveda’s benefits for boosting immunity and managing lifestyle diseases, urging community members to adopt these time-tested practices.

As part of a broader initiative, the program marked the ongoing week-long AYUSH health camps across schools, colleges, and community centers in Ramban, focused on raising awareness about Ayurveda’s preventive health benefits.
