Block Diwas: Public Outreach programme held at 3 blocks of Kulgam

KULGAM, MARCH 06: In order to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, public outreach programmes as part of weekly Block Diwas were today held at three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, D. H. Pora and Kulgam.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kulgam, Muhtaq Ahmad presided over a grievance redressal camp at Kulgam block where he listened to grievances and issues of people.

Other officers from District Administration were also present during this Block Diwas.

Visiting delegations from various areas apprised ACR about their issues and put forth their demands.

Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments.

ACR after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot and assured that the rest of the genuine issues and grievances will be addressed in a time bound manner.

Similarly, concerned officers listened to the people at Devsar and D.H.Pora blocks, and assured of redressing public issues and grievances.

Ministry of MSME’s PM iVshwakarma Awareness programs successfully held across 5 DistrictsSRINAGAR, MARCH 13: In a concerted effort to promote and facilitate the growth of artisans, the Ministry of MSME, through its dedicated Br MSME Development & Facilitation Office Srinagar, orchestrated a series of impactful PM Vishwakarma Programs across five districts.  Under the guidance of Br MSME DFO Srinagar, the programs were successfully conducted in Baramulla, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Srinagar districts, in collaboration with the respective District Administrations.  The events garnered substantial participation, with over 1200 enthusiastic stakeholders and beneficiaries joining.  The Assistant Director MSME, Saheel Alaqband emphasized the primary goal of these programs—to generate awareness about the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, ensuring its reach to the remotest locations, allowing artisans to avail themselves of its myriad benefits.  During the programs, comprehensive information about the scheme’s advantages was disseminated, and handholding support through Common Service Centre (CSC) centers was ensured.  Alaqband highlighted that the PM Vishwakarma Scheme provides artisans with recognition through certificates and identity cards, accompanied by training, toolkit incentive, credit support, digital and marketing support.
