KISHTWAR, JULY 16: The District Election Office (DEO) Kishtwar today hosted training sessions for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of 48 Inderwal and 49 – Kishtwar, Assembly Constituency.
District Election Officer Pankaj Kumar Sharma presided over the session in presence of ERO 49 Kishtwar Pawan Kotwal and ERO 48 Inderwal Mohammad Idrees Lone.
The training, conducted in morning and afternoon sessions at Conference Hall DC Office Complex, aimed to equip field-level election functionaries with updated knowledge and practical guidance for carrying out revision-related tasks as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
Key areas covered during the training included house-to-house verification, accurate handling of claims and objections and the effective use of IT tools.
Emphasis was laid on ensuring inclusivity, transparency, and error-free electoral rolls to uphold the integrity of the electoral process.
The training cum orientation was imparted to BLOs by National Level Master Trainers Tariq Parwaiz Tapal, Javed Ahmed Lone and Raj Kumar.
