Body of non-local labourer found hanging in Rajouri

Jammu: Body of a 35-year-old non-local labourer was found hanging to a tree near his accommodation in Sunderbani area of Rajouri district on Tuesday, officials said.

They identified the deceased as Ramashri son of Sonalal of Panna, Madhya Pradesh. Ramashri was putting up in Juggi area of Sunderbani and other laborers residing in the vicinity informed police about the incident, they said. “A police party rushed to the spot and shifted him to Sub District Hospital Sunderbani where doctors declared him brought dead,” the officials told GNS. Postmortem and other legal formalities are in progress, they added. (GNS)
