JAMMU, JANUARY 26: In the chain of events & programmes being organised to celebrate 75 Years of The Indian Constitution, Two Exhibitions namely Travelling – Painting Exhibition & Children -Painting Exhibition along with a cultural programme were organised in the Premises of PM SHRI K.V. NO.1 Jammu, today.
The Exhibitions showcased the artistic talents of its students in the auspicious presence of the Chief Guest Anand Jain, ADG J & K Police., Kulwant Jasrotia, SSP, J&K Police, Brigadier Vivek Puri, Sena Medal, Commander, 19 Infantry Brigade, Haneef Khan, Chief Sports Officer J& K Counsil, Jammu & Many other dignitaries from various departments.
The Programme was organized under the guidance & host-ship of KVS Regional Office Jammu officers Nagendra Goel, Deputy Commissioner, KVS Regional Office, Jammu; Islam Khan, Assistant Commissioner KVS Regional Office; Assistant Commissioner Anil Kumar Yadav; Assistant Commissioner Hari Singh, besides K.V. Principals & mentors of Jammu Region .
The Chief Guest & special guests were welcomed by the Color Party of Bharat Scouts and Guides Group of KV No. 1 Jammu under the guidance of Respected Akash Gupta, I/C Principal & Scout-Guide Mentors.
The Chief Guest inaugurated the programme by cutting the ribbon & lightening of the ceremonial lamp symbolizing knowledge, wisdom and prosperity.
Deputy Commissioner, KVS Regional Office, Jammu presented the welcome address and apprised the guests about the purpose of this painting exhibition. He mentioned that the painting exhibition starting from PM SHRI K.V. No. 1 Gandhi Nagar Jammu from today will cover all the Kendriya Vidyalayas of Jammu & Kashmir including KVs in Leh- Ladakh territory, ending at PM SHRI K.V.NO.1 Srinagar on 15th August 2025.
Later, the KV Students mesmerized the audience with the presentation of their patriotic song & Medley Dance representing various cultures of the various Indian states .
The Chief Guest, in his address, expressed his blessings and best wishes for the success of this programme. He encouraged the students to imbibe the constitutional values like Equality, fraternity, Liberty etc. along with constitutional rights & duties. He praised the programme arrangements and presentations of the students.
Assistant Commissioner, KVS Regional Office, Jammu presented the Vote of Thanks to all the guests & invitees, KVS HeadQuarter, New Delhi along with the students & participants. The programme ended with the singing of the National Anthem by all to salute & pay regard to the motherland.
