BUDGAM, SEPTEMBER 27: As part of the ongoing Sewa Parv, a wide range of awareness, training and community welfare activities were organized across district Budgam, reflecting the spirit of service, empowerment, and collective growth.
To promote sustainable agricultural practices, a demonstration and awareness programme on Soil Fertility Management was conducted in the district. Farmers were also provided training on Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) models, aimed at strengthening collective growth and enhancing productivity.
In line with child welfare initiatives, Child Protection Officer Budgam held a series of activities focused on child rights, protection, care and empowerment, sensitizing the community about safeguarding children and ensuring their well-being.
Various other activities were carried out under Sewa Parv, including cleanliness drives, awareness programmes, and community service initiatives, which highlighted the spirit of unity, selfless service, and civic responsibility.
Adding to the vibrancy of the campaign, BPS Hayatpora Zone Nagam organized multiple activities promoting cleanliness, awareness, and community service.
District Information Centre Budgam, in collaboration with the Chief Education Officer Budgam and the Cultural Unit Kashmir of the Department of Information & Public Relations, also organized a cultural programme on social issues. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and artists, who delivered thought-provoking performances centered on social awareness and responsibility.
These initiatives collectively showcased Budgam’s active participation in Sewa Parv, fostering a culture of service, inclusivity, and community empowerment.
