DODA, NOVEMBER 16: To pay homage to the victims of a tragic bus accident that occurred on November 15, 2023 at Trungal Morh, Assar, a solemn candlelight march was organized under the supervision of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Ashok Kumar. The devastating accident claimed the lives of 38 passengers, leaving the community in profound grief.
The march began from the Tehsil Office, Assar, and concluded at the SDM office on November 15, 2024. Residents from across the region participated, expressing solidarity with the bereaved families and offering prayers for the departed souls.
The event served as a poignant reminder of the human cost of negligence and underscored the urgent need for stricter road safety measures. It also brought the community together to reflect on the value of life and the importance of vigilance while traveling.
