SRINAGAR, AUGUST 15: Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Srinagar Bench, today celebrated the 79th Independence Day at its premises in the Old Assembly Complex, Jahangir Chowk, Srinagar.
D.S. Mahra, Member (Judicial) / Head of Department hoisted the National Flag, in the presence of M.S. Latif, Member (Judicial), and Prasant Kumar, Member (Administrative) besides other officers and officials.
Addressing the occasion, Mahra paid tribute to the nation’s freedom fighters and martyrs, honouring their sacrifices in securing India’s liberty. He highlighted the significance of Independence Day as a reminder of the nation’s values viz. justice, liberty, equality, and human dignity.
