JAMMU, JANUARY 09 An awareness programme on the PM Surya Bijli Yojana was held under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Magistrate Chowki Choura Mukhter Ahmed, in collaboration with the Power Development Department. The event saw enthusiastic participation from government officials and local residents.
Officials from the PDD briefed the audience on the scheme’s objectives, emphasising its potential to promote renewable energy and reduce electricity costs. Citizens were educated on how adopting the scheme could transform their energy consumption patterns while offering sustainable solutions for households and businesses.
“The PM Surya Bijli Yojana has the power to revolutionize energy use in rural and urban areas alike,” the SDM noted, as he encouraged attendees to leverage the benefits of the initiative.
