SHOPIAN, DECEMBER 20: On the second day of the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign, district administration Shopian intensified its citizen-centric outreach with a series of public grievance redressal and awareness camps held across multiple panchayats of the district.
Under the campaign, a major public outreach programme was organised today at Keller, where a large number of citizens participated and raised various demands and grievances related to public services and developmental issues.
A mutation camp was also organised at Keller during which 17 mutations were attested on the spot, providing immediate relief to the beneficiaries and ensuring hassle-free delivery of revenue-related services at the grassroots level.
Similar outreach and grievance redressal activities were conducted in other panchayats, including Heff, Chotigam, KM Gund, Kanjullar, Bemnipora, Zampathri, Mastpora, Amshipora, Aglar, etc. These camps witnessed active public participation, with officials directly engaging with citizens to address their concerns.
The focus of the day remained on effective grievance redressal, awareness generation and citizen-centric delivery of services.
Officers interacted with the people, apprised them of various government schemes and welfare initiatives, and guided them on availing benefits in a transparent and time-bound manner.
Issues requiring immediate action were resolved on the spot, while those needing further examination were recorded for follow-up.
The ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore–2025’ campaign, being observed from December 19 to December 25 as part of Good Governance Week–2025, continues to bridge the gap between the administration and the people by taking governance to the doorsteps of citizens across the district.
