DODA, JUNE 19: A committee headed by Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Vinod Sharma today conducted a physical audit of ambulances operating under the 108 Emergency Response Service to review their functioning and operational readiness.
The committee inspected ambulances for operational status, availability of essential equipment, medicines and emergency supplies as per the prescribed checklist and reviewed maintenance records and preparedness for emergency response. Dr Vinod Sharma directed the authorities concerned to address any deficiencies observed during the inspection on priority.
The audit committee comprised Dr Abdul Gafoor Block Medical Officer Ghat, Mohd Shafi Attu (CHO), Jahangir Mehta (DPM), CK Shan (DM&EO) and Tasir-ul-Islam Driver.
