BANDIPORA, NOVEMBER 14: As part of the 150 years of Celebrations of National song ‘Vande Mataram’ the Cultural Unit Srinagar, in collaboration with the District Information Office, Bandipora, organised a thematic Play and Cultural Exhibition today at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Aloosa Bandipora.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of all senior officers of District Bandipora, who appreciated the initiative and underscored the significance of commemorating such historic milestones.
Speaking on the occasion, the Cultural Officer Srinagar highlighted the national importance of Vande Mataram, stressing that such commemorations strengthen cultural awareness, patriotic spirit, and community participation.
He further emphasised that celebrating national events through cultural programmes plays a vital role in educating the younger generation about India’s heritage and collective identity.
