DAJ reviews functioning of Agriculture Govt Engineering Workshop

JAMMU, AUGUST 20: Director Agriculture Jammu (DAJ) Anil Gupta today visited the Agriculture Government Engineering Workshop to review the ongoing projects, infrastructure and overall functioning of the workshop.

The Director was accompanied by Regional Level SMS, Sanjay Anand, along with other senior officers and staff of the department.

During the visit, the Director took an extensive tour of the facility and interacted with officers and technical staff to assess the progress of various agricultural development projects. He reviewed the infrastructure, machinery and resources available, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in the production and repair of agricultural equipment.

Agri Research Engineer Jammu, Firdous Ahmad Tak briefed the Director on several key initiatives including infrastructure development, introduction of new machinery, repair services for agricultural equipment and improvement of existing resources to better cater to the needs of the farming community.

Director Anil Gupta stressed the timely and effective implementation of all projects to enhance agricultural practices and ensure the economic upliftment of farmers. He also directed officials to ensure regular maintenance of the workshop and to take proactive measures for strengthening its operational capacity.
