KUPWARA, DECEMBER 20: In continuation of the ongoing “Sushasan Saptah – Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore 2025” campaign, Special Grievance Redressal and Service Delivery Camps were successfully organized on Day 2 across all tehsils of district Kupwara.

The initiative aims to strengthen good governance by taking administration to the doorsteps of citizens and ensuring timely resolution of public grievances.

The camps witnessed active participation from residents across rural and urban pockets, who availed themselves of a wide range of government services under one roof.

During the camps, public grievances related to revenue records, pensions, ration cards, electricity and water supply, roads, healthcare services, employment schemes, land issues, and welfare benefits were registered. Several cases were resolved on the spot, while others were forwarded to the concerned departments with strict timelines for disposal.

Special focus was laid on senior citizens, women, persons with disabilities, and beneficiaries of flagship government schemes.

Speaking on the occasion, Officers emphasized that the Sushasan Saptah campaign is a people-centric initiative designed to enhance transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in governance.

Awareness sessions were also conducted to inform citizens about ongoing government schemes and entitlements, procedures for availing benefits, and grievance redressal mechanisms. Departments disseminated informational material and guided beneficiaries on application processes and documentation requirements.

The Sushasan Saptah-Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore 2025 campaign will continue in the coming days across the district, further reinforcing the administration’s resolve to deliver efficient, transparent, and citizen-friendly governance in Kupwara.
