PULWAMA, DECEMBER 22: As part of the week-long celebrations of Sushasan Saptah under the nationwide campaign “Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore”, the District Administration Pulwama today organised a series of grievance redressal camps at multiple locations across the district to strengthen citizen-centric governance and ensure prompt delivery of public services.
As part of the campaign, Grievance redressal and awareness camps were organised at Panchayats such as Lurgam, Panzgam, Amirabad, Pinglena, Abhama, Wahibugh, Ladhoo, Tahab, Rahmoo, Mandoora, besides the Block Headquarters Lassipora.
Senior officers, along with field functionaries of various departments, visited the Panchayats to interact directly with the local populace, redress grievances on the spot and facilitate access to various government welfare schemes.
Departments including Rural Development, Health, Agriculture, Horticulture, Social Welfare, Labour, Cooperatives, and other line departments participated in the outreach activities by providing on-the-spot services, disseminating information about flagship schemes and resolving public issues at the grassroots level.
Special focus was laid on grievance redressal, verification of beneficiary-related cases, awareness regarding ongoing developmental schemes and ensuring transparency in service delivery. The camps witnessed active public participation, with residents availing services and seeking resolution of long-pending issues.
Meanwhile, Agriculture Department organised outreach camps at Abhama, Shadimarg and Khaigam zones to facilitate on-the-spot grievance redressal and implementation of various departmental schemes.
The outreach activities under “Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore” will continue across the district in the coming days, with the objective of bringing administration closer to the people and strengthening participatory governance at the grassroots.
