BUDGAM, SEPTEMBER 22: As part of the ongoing Sewa Parv celebrations, a series of vibrant and impactful activities were held today across different blocks of district Budgam, highlighting themes of cleanliness, cultural awareness, and sustainable living.

At Block S.K. Pora, a traditional Ladishah performance and a play were organised in collaboration with Government High School S.K. Pora and Government Middle School Razwen. Presented in the local Kashmiri language, the performances successfully conveyed the importance of adopting eco-friendly behaviours and sustainable everyday habits. The cultural approach ensured the message of Swachhta Parv reached the local community in a relatable and engaging manner.

Meanwhile, at HSS Bugam, Chadoora Budgam, a wall painting activity was carried out under Sewa Parv. Students and volunteers joined hands to creatively depict messages of cleanliness, environmental care, and social responsibility. The initiative combined art with advocacy, turning school walls into vibrant canvases of awareness and inspiration.

These activities collectively reflected the spirit of Sewa Parv, aiming not only to spread the message of Swachhta but also to build stronger community participation through cultural expression and creative mediums.

The ongoing events across Budgam are ensuring that the essence of service, awareness, and sustainable living reaches every corner of the district.
