BANDIPORA NOVEMBER 16: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Saturday chaired the District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC) meeting here in the VC room, Mini Secretariat Bandipora.
The rent cases pertaining to Education, ICDS Gurez, District Child Protection Unit (ICPS) and JKRLM (Umeed) besides others were approved by the committee. The Committee discussed the fixation of rent of various structures in which various government offices are functioning across the district.
08 cases were taken up for discussion in the meeting, out of which 07 cases were approved.
While addressing the meeting, the DC urged the officers to ensure timely payment of rent to the respective land and property owners and to prioritize the safety of government or rented properties.
He further asked the concerned authorities to disburse the approved rent, along with any arrears after the title verification certificate is issued by the concerned Tehsildar.
meeting was attended by District Program Officer Bandipora, Yaar Ali Khan; Chief Planning Officer Bandipora, Mohammad Maqbool lone; CMO, DSWO, CEO besides other concerned officers of various departments.
