BARAMULLA, SEPTEMBER 26: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa today chaired a review meeting here to assess the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)-Urban 2.0 in the district.
During the meeting, DC reviewed the status of applications received on the Unified Web Portal and examined their verification and validation process. He emphasized timely completion of scrutiny so that genuine beneficiaries are covered under the scheme.
DC directed the officers to work in close coordination to ensure transparency, accuracy, and speedy disposal of cases under PMAY-Urban 2.0, thereby fulfilling the objective of providing housing facilities to eligible urban poor.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi; Tehsildars of Baramulla, Sopore, Kunzer, Pattan, Watergam, and Uri, besides Executive Officers of Municipal Councils and Committees.
