BARAMULLA, JANUARY 06: In a spirit of unity and celebration, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa Monday extended heartfelt greetings to the Sikh community and all those celebrating the 358th birth anniversary of the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
On the occasion, Minga Sherpa visited the Chatti Padshahi Gurdwara in Baramulla and joined devotees to participate in the religious festivities.
In his message, the DC lauded the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, emphasizing his role as a spiritual leader, warrior, poet and philosopher.
Minga Sherpa further highlighted Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s unwavering commitment to justice, equality and compassion, which continues to inspire generations across the world.
Meanwhile, gurdwaras across the district witnessed special prayers, kirtans and langars to pay homage and honor the legacy of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
