DC Kathua reviews progress of District Capex budget 2025-26 works

KATHUA, MARCH 18: Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma today chaired a meeting of district officers to review the physical and financial progress achieved under the District Capex Budget 2025-26.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Ranjeet Thakur, Chief Education Officer Kathua, Chief Medical Officer Kathua, Executive Engineers of RDD and Irrigation, besides other district officers.

At the outset, the Chief Planning Officer briefed the chair regarding the status and progress of various works taken up under the District Capex Budget.

The DC conducted a comprehensive review of all ongoing projects and directed the executing agencies to expedite the pace of work to ensure timely completion. He stressed that all works sanctioned under the Capex Budget must be completed within the stipulated timelines.

Highlighting the importance of coordinated and dedicated efforts, the DC underscored the need for effective execution of development projects at the grassroots level.

He further instructed all district officers to strictly adhere to set timelines and ensure that no liabilities are carried forward to the next financial year.
