KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 19: Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the Youth Empowerment and Engagement Plan, with focus on strengthening youth participation in constructive, developmental and community-oriented activities.
The meeting also reviewed the progress on uploading and documenting youth-oriented activities on the designated portal.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for coordinated efforts by all concerned departments to create opportunities for youth and encourage their active participation in sports, cultural activities, skill development, awareness programmes, community engagement and other initiatives aimed at their holistic development.
The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure regular and timely uploading of details of all eligible activities on the designated portal. He emphasized accurate and timely reporting so that initiatives being undertaken at the district and grassroots levels are properly documented and reflected on the portal.
The meeting was attended by PO ICDS, GM DIC, CPO, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, DIO and other district officers.
