DC Poonch reviews performance of Banks for FY 2024-25

POONCH, APRIL 08: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today chaired the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) to review the performance of Banks under Annual Credit Plan (ACP) and Govt sponsored schemes for Quarter ended December 2024 of FY 2024-25.

At the outset, Lead District Manager informed the house that different Banks have achieved total business (Deposit + Advances) of Rs. 6161.32 crore. “Thereby Deposits have risen from Rs.3612.87 crore as on 31 December 2023 to Rs.4018.22 crore as on 31 December 2024 showing a YoY growth of 11.22%. Advances have risen from Rs. 1999.57 crore as on 31 December, 2023 to Rs.2143.10 crore as on 31 December 2024 showing YOY growth of 7.18%. CD ratio of the District stood at 53.33 % as on 31 December 2024,” he added.

Lead District Manager further informed that under ACP, Banks operating in the district have made total credit disbursement of Rs.812.46 Crore, against annual target of Rs.725.03 Crore thereby achieving 112% of the target as of December 2024. “Out of above, the credit disbursement of Rs.329.50 crore was made under the Priority sector against the target of Rs.571.10 crore thereby achieving 58% of the annual target of the priority sector,” he said.

The Chairman DLRC Vikas Kundal directed all the stakeholders to improve priority sector lending in different Government sponsored schemes so that unemployed youth can attain self sufficiency through various self employed schemes of Central and state Govt.

The DC also directed all concerned sponsoring agencies and lending institutions to improve performance under priority sector. PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna scheme of government was also discussed and the stakeholders were directed to increase lending so that power generation and free power to all objectives were met.
Stress was laid on effective implementation of social security schemes including Atal Pension Yojna, PM Suraksha Bima Yojna and PM Jeevan Jyoti Yojna.

Younis Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Poonch, Mr. Bharat Singh Nag Project Officer DUDA Poonch, Mr. Bharat Bushan Fisheries Development Officer Poonch, Mr. Sakib Shafi DPM NRLM Poonch, Mr. Mohd Ghayas Khan District Officer KVIB Poonch. District officers Handicrafts & Handloom Deptt Poonch, Mr. Ramanjeet Singh IPO DIC Poonch besides District Coordinators of all Banks & other District Officers of Govt Departments attended the meet.
