The review also encompassed an assessment of the infrastructure and facilities for the convenience of attendees, including seating arrangements, traffic management, and medical aid centers, as well as the arrangements to be put in place from rehearsals to the main event.

The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at DPL Pulwama, while local administration will celebrate the national event at Sub-Division, Block, and Tehsil levels.

The DC directed the district heads of different departments to ensure their presence, as well as the presence of subordinate officers and officials, at the Independence Day function both at the district headquarters and at divisional level functions.

Arrangements for flag hoisting, march pasts, cultural items, seating arrangements, stage setting, venue preparation, and refreshments for the I-Day celebration were discussed in the meeting.

Directions were given to concerned officers to make fool-proof security arrangements and ensure adequate provision of drinking water, power supply, medical care, sanitation, transport, traffic regulation, and illumination of major government buildings in the tricolor theme.
