RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 25: District Development Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for the Mahashivratri festival scheduled to be held at the revered holy Shiv Khori Shrine in Ransoo.

The DC took a thorough review of the arrangements to facilitate the devotees arriving at Ransoo on the auspicious occasion.

The District Administration has made special transportation arrangements to assist pilgrims traveling from Shiv Khori to Kalakote and adjoining areas. The initiative aims to provide seamless travel facility to devotees returning after offering prayers at the holy shrine.

To enhance awareness and guidance, the Additional Director Tourism was directed to install flex hoardings at key locations, ensuring better information dissemination regarding routes, facilities and important instructions for visitors.

Additionally, the Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) have been assigned the task of coordinating and facilitating the transit arrangements to ensure hassle-free movement of pilgrims.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tourism has also been instructed to make necessary provisions for accommodating tourists who wish to explore Rajouri after participating in the Mahashivratri celebrations. Special assistance will be provided to visitors to promote tourism in the region.

The District Administration is committed to ensuring a well-organized and comfortable pilgrimage experience for devotees and will continue to monitor the arrangements throughout the event.
