RAJOURI, AUGUST 20: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the status and progress of PMGSY road projects in Darhal, subdivision Thanamandi.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Malikzada Sheraz Ul Haq, CPO Maqsood Ahmed, SDM Abid Hussain Shah, DFO Mohd Naveed, Executive Engineer PMGSY Shahid Mustafa, AEE PMGSY Ahtjaz Shafeeq Choudhary and other concerned officers. During the meeting, the status of eight PMGSY roads in Darhal, subdivision Thanamandi was reviewed in detail.
It was informed that work on six roads is presently in progress, while two roads are awaiting requisite forest clearance.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure close coordination and timely resolution of issues affecting the execution of the projects. He directed the DFO concerned to fast-track the forest clearance process for the two pending roads to facilitate commencement of work at the earliest.
The DC also directed the executing agencies to expedite the pace of work on all ongoing projects and ensure their timely completion while maintaining the prescribed quality standards. He emphasized that all concerned departments must work in close coordination to remove bottlenecks and ensure improved road connectivity.
