RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 18: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma today visited Primary Health Centre (PHC) Teryath to gather first hand appraisal of the incident involving a woman delivering a baby on road.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the affected woman and her family to understand the circumstances leading to the incident. He assured the family of strict action and emphasized that such incidents are unacceptable in a system committed to providing accessible healthcare to all.

While addressing the health officials present, the Deputy Commissioner directed them to work with utmost sincerity and diligence to prevent such incidents in future. “Healthcare is a fundamental right and it is our collective responsibility to ensure timely and effective medical services for every citizen,” he stated.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed the ADC Kalakote to conduct a detailed inquiry into the matter and submit a report at the earliest. He also emphasized the need for regular monitoring of health centers and provision of adequate resources to cater to the needs of the public.
