RAMBAN, AUGUST 6: In a vibrant celebration of patriotism, Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, led the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by participating in the Tiranga Rangoli competition at Government Higher Secondary School Gandhri. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of students and youth, who beautifully showcased their love for the nation through tricolour-themed rangolis made with organic colours, leaves and flowers.
Accompanied by Chief Planning Officer Dr. Shakeeb Ahmed Rather, Assistant Commissioner Panchayats Mohammad Ashfaq, General Manager DIC Ravinder Anand, CMO, CAHO, CAO, CHO, DSHO, AD FCS&CA, BDO and other senior officers and prominent citizens, the Deputy Commissioner lauded the initiative and appreciated the creativity and commitment of the young participants.
The DC Ramban praised the spirit of the students and local youth, emphasizing that their involvement in Har Ghar Tiranga reflects the essence of unity, national pride, and collective commitment to the country’s values.
He highlighted that the campaign is not just about hoisting the national flag but about igniting a sense of nationalism, responsibility and participation among citizens.
The DC urged the participants to inspire their families, peers and communities to proudly hoist the National Flag atop their homes and establishments and actively take part in the upcoming events under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign leading up to Independence Day.
The campaign, carried out with enthusiastic support from various departments, educational institutions and public across the district into hubs of colourful, patriotic celebration. Besides Rangoli competitions, several institutions also organized rakhi-making contests, tiranga rallies, painting events and awareness activities on swachhata, water conservation and personal hygiene.
Cultural performances including patriotic songs added to the festive atmosphere, as Ramban district echoed with the spirit of Har Ghar Tiranga.
