RAMBAN, AUGUST 05: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, today chaired a review meeting to finalise arrangements for the upcoming Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations.
The meeting was attended by ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, CPO Dr Shakeeb Ahmed Rather, senior officers, religious leaders and local stakeholders.
The DC directed all departments to ensure smooth, secure and spiritually enriching festivities. He emphasised sanitation, traffic regulation, and provision of public services.
Traffic Police were instructed to manage traffic in Ramban town. Municipal authorities were asked to maintain cleanliness around temples and along the Shri Krishna Jhanki route, which is expected to see large participation.
Arrangements for water, medical aid, fire safety and uninterrupted electricity were also mandated. The DC called for close coordination with religious committees to ensure hassle-free celebrations.
