RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 15: Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan today chaired a meeting to review the functioning of the Revenue Department.
He assessed the progress achieved in land record digitization, Digital Crop Survey (DCS), besides execution of Departmental building projects.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Varunjeet Singh Charak; SDM Banihal Mohammad Naseeb Bajraan; SDM Gool Imtiaz Ahmed; SDM Ramsoo Sayed Mazahir Hussain Shah; Executive Engineers of PWD Divisions Ramban and Banihal and all Tehsildars of the district.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of the new and ongoing construction works of Revenue Department buildings at Naibat, Tehsil and Sub-divisional levels taken up under the Capex Budget. The PWD department was asked to expedite the execution of all ongoing works. The DC also set deadlines for completion of various projects. The Tehsildars were directed to monitor the progress.
Reviewing the progress of the Agristack Digitization initiative, the Deputy Commissioner directed the department to expedite the implementation and achieve the prescribed targets within the stipulated timeline.
He also directed the Assistant Commissioner Revenue, all SDMs and Tehsildars to ensure completion of the Digital Crop Survey (DCS) across the district within the prescribed timeline.
