REASI, JULY 29: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek today chaired a meeting to review arrangements and assess preparedness for the safe conduct for the forthcoming Annual Kousar Nag Yatra 2026.
SDM Mahore briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the status of the yatra track, availability of essential facilities and the arrangements being made for pilgrims. He also apprised the chair of the measures taken to ensure basic amenities and coordinated support along the route.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of infrastructure development works on the yatra route, assessed the availability and readiness of safety equipment and directed the departments concerned to ensure that all safety measures are put in place well before the pilgrimage. He instructed all officers concerned to complete the remaining works in a time-bound manner and ensure adequate arrangements for sanitation, drinking water, medical facilities, communication and emergency response.
Among those present were ADC Rakesh Kumar, Commandant CRPF Manoj Verma, ACR Nitin Verma, Addl SP, ACD and other officers concerned.
