DC reviews arrangements for upcoming Gurmat Samagam at Gurudwara Deri Sahib Khari

POONCH, JUNE 20: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for the upcoming Gurmat Samagam scheduled to be held on July 6, 2025 at Gurudwara Deri Sahib Khari.

The meeting was attended by ADC, ACR, CMO, Executive Engineers, Tehsildar Haveli, ARTO, AD Food, functionaries from GREF, Municipality and other concerned officers besides Committee members of Gurudwara Deri Sahib Khari Poonch.

The Committee members raised several key issues essential for the smooth conduct of the congregation. They called for uninterrupted supply of water and electricity, proper sanitation in and around Gurudwara Sahib, maintenance of approach roads, Medical facilities and other logistical and civic amenities.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Medical Officer to ensure the availability of ambulance services and adequate medical facilities during the Samagam. He also instructed all concerned departments to address the highlighted issues well in advance to facilitate a hassle-free religious event.

The Deputy Commissioner assured the Committee members of making all necessary arrangements and extending full support for the successful conduct of the Samagam.
