DC reviews preparedness for Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, JUNE 13: Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai today reviewed the district’s preparedness for the implementation of the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan at a meeting held here today

The campaign scheduled to be held from June 15 to June 30, 2025 aims to promote inclusive and sustainable development in tribal regions.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh, PO Poshan Subash Dogra, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Umesh Shan, Chief Planning Officer Mohd Iqbal and other concerned officers.

Speaking at the meeting, the DC underlined the significance of the campaign in reaching every eligible beneficiary across the district. She directed the line departments to increase reach out to targeted areas and instructed the officers to ensure saturation of all schemes across 17 line departments, with a focus on active community participation to achieve the intended outcomes of the campaign.

The DC urged the officers to work in coordination and ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out during the course of the campaign.
