SAMBA, JUNE 21: Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma today visited three key Lodgement Centres Chichi Mata Temple, Nonath Ashram and Daini Transit Camp to review arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Yatra 2025.
Accompanied by ADC, he inspected arrangements related to sanitation, water supply, toilets, lighting and power backup. Directions were issued to ensure timely completion of all works.
At Chichi Mata, a lodgement centre with capacity for around 800 pilgrims has been set up. The DC took stock civic amenities including toilets, bathing units and others. At Nonath, the issue of water shortage was flagged for urgent action. At Daini, ongoing work on toilets and lighting was reviewed.
The DC emphasized cleanliness, coordination and readiness to ensure a smooth experience for the Yatris.
