SAMBA, OCTOBER 05: Deputy Commissioner Samba Ayushi Sudan today chaired a meeting at the DC Office to review applications pertaining to Change of Land Use (CLU).
During the meeting, a total of nine CLU cases were examined threadbare with detailed inputs and technical observations from the concerned departments. After comprehensive deliberations, three cases were accorded approval, one case was rejected, four cases were kept pending, while one case was reverted for necessary compliance.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure strict adherence to statutory provisions, regulatory norms and prescribed procedures while scrutinising CLU applications. She emphasised that each proposal must be examined with due diligence, keeping in view legal requirements, environmental considerations and developmental priorities.
She further stressed upon the officers to maintain fairness, transparency and efficiency in the CLU approval process and ensure timely disposal of cases in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
The meeting was attended by ACR Ajay Bharti, GM DIC, Executive Engineers and other concerned officers, who provided technical and procedural inputs during the examination of the cases.
