DC Shopian directs immediate reparation of Narwah Road

SHOPIAN, APRIL 4: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta today assessed the condition of damaged segment of road at Narwah & directed concerned agencies for immediate reparations.

While visiting the site, DC took stock of the identified stretches that require immediate reparation work to facilitate the smooth movement of transportation.

Emphasizing the importance of road connectivity for local commuters, DC directed the concerned departments, including R&B Department and PMGSY to coordinate with PC Division looking after the NH 444 and expedite execution of necessary repair and maintenance works.

He also interacted with locals, who projected their grievances & demands regarding different issues.
While assuring prompt redressal, DC reiterated the administration’s commitment to infrastructure development and responsive governance.

ADC, Dr Zakir Hussain Faaz, officers and other officials accompanied DC during the inspection.
