SHOPIAN, DECEMBER 07: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today visited Boys Higher Secondary School Shopian to review arrangements being made for the roll out of civil services coaching.

District Administration Shopian has already initiated the process for registration of aspirants and put in place required logistics as part of its continuous endeavours to support youth in preparing for the competitive exams.
At the place, the library and reading rooms equipped with modern IT infrastructure and study materials shall be in place for the aspirants.

This initiative aims to provide quality guidance and resources to deserving candidates, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, who may not have access to such facilities otherwise.

The coaching typically includes online and in person lectures by experienced faculty and officers and mock tests to help students build confidence and prepare effectively. Such programmes align with District Administration’s efforts to boost education and employment opportunities in the region.

During the visit, DC reviewed the facilities, ensuring compliance with welfare standards, addressing issues to enhance the care provided to the aspirants and assessing the resources.

The DC said that the students would be provided a comfortable learning environment with modern classrooms, access to online resources to address individual challenges and to assign mentors to students for one- on-one guidance, motivation and progress tracking.
ACR, CEO, BDO, DIO and other concerned were present.
